Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
